Roman Catholic Pols Who Support Abortion Are Ex-communicated

At least according to Canon Law (Church law) as promulgated in 1983. From the pro-socialized medicine RCC today, we have a lack of clarity; the teaching, muddled; the courage, nonexistent.

But when there are Sadducee parishes--I termed it so within the priest's hearing who struck me as an obvious lefty and who officiated at my brother's wedding at the church linked to--there's sufficient cover, esp. with the discussion of capital punishment and help to the poor, as if those are equally serious issues. They're not. Holy Trinity Parish in Georgetown is one that openly embraces pro-death Catholic politicians, which should cause scandal.

A priest at that church for my brother's wedding, across the street from Georgetown University and run by the Jesuits, warmly recounted Joe Biden's coming in and praying before Pres. Obama's inauguration, as if that were something laudable. Sen. Patrick Leahy, another pro-death pol, apparently regularly attends.

Biden, as Clint Eastwood rightly says, is "a grin with a body behind it," a narcissistic mediocrity who uttered a huge lie about the Benghazi assault, has costly hair plugs that I don't think are covered by health insurance--compare his baldness in 1988 to today--and expensive dentures, reportedly costing $20k.

Joe is so not Scranton.
But the Church is too busy on fighting much lesser evils like capital punishment--the new bishop of NH (Diocese of Manchester) falsely considers it to be a moral evil (see my comment or listen to the 36-minute mark)--or the poor when, as I've written, transfer payments have gone up 727% over the last 50 years, even accounting for inflation and population growth.

Catholics in states like Pennsylvania and New Hampshire, who often tip the scales in favor of DemoRATS, are poorly lead by their church. Abortion is _the_ moral issue of our age. An argument, I think valid, can be made that it's worse than slavery.
