Today marked the end of our boating season, always a sad time around the Weekend Pundit Manse.
BeezleBub and I pulled the Official Weekend Pundit Lake Winnipesaukee Runabout (aka The Boat) out of the water this evening. I moved it from its slip over to the town docks/boat ramp just after work, then BeezleBub and I hooked up the trailer to the trusty F150, drove down to the boat ramp, and got The Boat loaded onto the trailer and secured.
After a little side trip to the local gas station to top off The Boat's fuel tank (including some gas/ethanol stabilizer for winter storage), we headed home and got the The Boat parked in its temporary spot. We still have some firewood to re-stack before The Boat is moved to its winter storage spot and the storage frame constructed around it to shield it from the vagaries of winter weather.
And so ends yet another boating season here in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
