Public Sector Union Jobs Are Draining Us Dry

The enemy is ourselves, allowing gubmit sector unions--first permitted by executive order during the JFK administration on the federal level--to run wild. It's largely because our legislators aren't good at math and most haven't balanced a budget or met a payroll. They only know how to get elected, appear pleasant, and come across as...nice.

Not working out for us. I think this 6 Sept 2010 New York Post op-ed by Stephen Meister is one of the best since Russell Baker's NYT piece in 1991 in favor for drug de-criminalization. HT: View from the Right

Yes, gubmit is becoming the dominant force, in control. And the productive, jobs-creating and economy-sustaining private sector recedes. There's a powerful Youtube interview with Stephen Malanga and his new, depressing book Shakedown: The Continuing Conspiracy Against the Taxpayer.

Martin Gross is the Jeremiah for me on gubmit fiscal malfeasance. Two shows I've repeatedly listened to--I'm an audiophile, liking to listen to stuff when walking the dogs or hiking or doing manual labor for UPS--is Gross with Dennis Prager and Michael Medved. Two separate shows, but devastating about the incompetent, "rather stupid" Community Organizer and modern Democrats being way too far to the left.
